Aitik at the Polar Circle is one of Europe’s largest copper mines. Every day Goliath, a Volvo FH16, transports 500 tonnes of copper ore between the dressing plant at the Aitik Mine and the loading terminal. When this specially built truck leaves the dressing plant, a total of 144 tonnes are distributed over its ten axles and 36 tyres.
