Lexus is easily one of the world’s most recognized luxury brands, and it’s easy to see why. The sister brand to Toyota, Lexus has been pumping out consistently dependable and high performing vehicles for years now, and I know that I’m one of the loyalists that the brand has earned through Staten Island Lexus SC dealers across the area. What I really like to do sometimes is wait until the summer, crank my windows down, blast some speed metal and watch the speechless looks on people’s faces as I drive by. One day, I’ll put some Pantera on for a little southern twist, slap on a cowboy hat and a bolo tie and pretend I’m an eccentric Texas millionaire. But I digress; the real item of interest here is at your local Lexus dealer.
The car in question is the ever popular SC 430, one of the most innovative and smooth running cars in the Lexus lineup. Staten Island Lexus SC dealers to date still consider the SC one of the cars that gets the most interest. Everyone has thought once or twice about buying a convertible in their lives, so why not the SC 430? It may seem like it is in more of a sports car package, but the Lexus SC is all luxury vehicle, I can assure you of that. A one-touch power-folding hardtop idealizes the vehicle for use in any weather conditions – but it makes it especially popular for summer usage. The engine power is pretty impressive, employing a V8 under the hood, and I’ve never seen a sleeker design in my life. The SC 430 is just another reason you should stop in at your Lexus dealer and take a look at the merchandise.
Sporty suspension calibrations definitely add to the smooth feel of the car, which add to the car’s fantastic handling and general high performance. I took the SC 430 for a test-drive myself when I visited my Staten Island Lexus SC dealer, and boy did this car take corners like a champ. It rode smoothly (due to the suspension I suppose) and won my heart as it did 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds, employing its powerful V8 to feed a little speed to my ride. I took it through the city, where it responded very well to the hazardous driving conditions. Then, I took her out on the highway and opened her up – and let me tell you, this is her natural habitat. I had her zipping from lane to lane until she was out on the open road, but there was never much time between me and the next batch of cars. Lexus dealerships have heard similar things from other test drivers.
The SC isn’t exactly a new innovation from the Lexus brand, but it is one of the sportiest cars that the luxury manufacturer has to offer. It’s great to see Lexus back on its feet again after taking part in the Toyota recall. It wasn’t a pretty sight, and most of the flack was taken by the Toyota brand, but Lexus was not an innocent culprit.
