Porsche needs an internal revolution. Strengthen the Boxter / Cayman and weaken the 911. *dons on flame suit* A flawed design is starting to show in the Le Mans series, being dominated by Ferrari and whatnot.
i own a 996, my next car will be a Cayman S. but i would really want to see is a tuner that puts a Cayenne S engine in a Cayman , that would be a killer car.
When it comes to drivers cars which are most likely going to be used by track enthusiasts, don’t ask Jesser to review them, he hates Porkers anyway. Read Evo Magazine, they love the Cayman and with all due to respect to Jezzer he is a bit on the senile side when it comes to these things.
Owned a Cayman S for 2 years now and it’s a fantastic drivers car. If this car is designed to fit a gap in the market then so what? Great job done by Porsche! They didn’t give it an lsd till last year cos they were afraid it would be a better drive than a 911 for £15000 less, and after all they sell over twice as many 911s as Caymans. They’d be taking food out of their own mouths! £15k I saved went on loads of extras and accessories!
I totally agree with you. This is a fantastic piece of german engineering. Unfortunately, they could make it a lot better, or even try to make it a super car, because this is the only mid-engined porsche money can buy. I feel sorry that porsche use it to fill the gap in the market.

I wish they would take the cayman body and put it on the 911. It’s so much prettier.

The cayman s is a pretty good car with a top speed of 277 klm/h, so jeremy shouldn’t be so unfair with it.
